Challenge
Send a message to New Yorkers during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
New York City shortly became the epicenter of the Coronavirus spread in the United States as infection rates increased and local news grew more ominous. The people of New York needed a message, a message that was not only inspiring and hopeful, but provided clear guidelines for the times to come. The message was helped served by the voice of Governor Andrew Cuomo and creative storytelling by DeVito/Verdi.
Details
We created a series of video and audio pieces that ended with the voice of Governor Cuomo and used them to target NY residents.
We created additional versions for national distribution that did not feature Gov. Cuomo.
The creative was distributed across multiple digital channels including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Display Banners, Spotify and OTT.
Users were encouraged to click-through to learn more about the virus and how to stop the spread.
We partnered with macro and micro social media Influencers to help directly spread the message to their followers.
